Home to School Travel
We provide transport on behalf of Cumbria County Council to and from various schools in the local area. Vehicles used on home-to-school transfers display school signs and also, if applicable, signs displaying destination information. Our drivers endeavour to understand the needs of all children and are there to help and assist during the journey.
Due to many of the roads used on our home-to-school journeys being very remote and untreated, there may be instances where collection for all children is not possible in adverse weather conditions.

The company holds advanced Motor Vehicle, Public Liability and Employers’ Liability Insurances. Copies of insurance certificates and operators’ licence can be provided on request. A copy of our risk assessment is also available if requested. Additionally, we would welcome the opportunity to show school trip organisers around our premises and fleet, and be delighted to arrange an appointment so to make sure there is a guide available.
In the extremely unlikely event of a breakdown, 24-hour recovery and/or repair is on hand with an agreement with CPT Breakdown Assistance in coordination with Nationwide Coach Assistance (see www.ntbs.co.uk/nca for further details.)
